Today is the day to see the solar eclipse!!!

Hi everyone! Today is the day to see the solar eclipse across the skies of the U.S. of A!

And oh, before I forget, our neighbors to the North, Canada, and our neighbors to the South, Mexico will be able to see the solar eclipse as well.

At eleven o’clock in the morning , the solar eclipse will begin to cross our American skies. This phenomenon will begin in Salem, Oregon and stretch all the way to the great state of Georgia.

There are only 14 states that will enjoy the total solar eclipse. The states where the total solar eclipse can be seen are Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

The rest of us will only get a partial solar eclipse. I know, the rats, but something is always better than nothing.

For those of you who will be able to go outside and enjoy one of nature’s finest sights, don’t forget to grab yourselves a pair of safety glasses.

Remember, the glasses to use must have a filter on them. Don’t get your glasses at home because that could lead to really bad eyesight and none of us want that.

So, make sure you get the right solar eclipse viewing glasses to view the solar eclipse.

If you are not sure if the glasses you have are the right ones or you don’t know which glasses to buy, just click here, on the American Astronomical Society website, and it will tell you the type of viewing glasses you need.

Have fun today viewing the solar eclipse! See y’all later!!!
